Mos Monuments offers unique ways to add either a color or black & white portrait to almost any of our services. Although our laser and hand etched options look best on Absolute Black, we offer alternative options to get a similar look on other stone colors. We are one of the few companies in the area who offer the diamond etching feature. See all of our portrait options below:

Black & White Portraits

• Laser Etched Portraits – a black & white image or a standard design selected from our catalogue is etched directly on Absolute Black stone only with a machine using a laser. If you’d prefer a stone color other than Absolute Black for your loved one’s memorial, a hole will be cut into the memorial and an Absolute Black tile with the laser etched image will be inserted into the hole.

  Monument – Yuzhelevskay

  G654 granite. Single monument build for one person. Base and ledger (horizontal piece) with inscription added. Image is laser etching. Traditional design.

• Hand Etched Portraits – a black & white image or a standard design selected from our catalogue is etched directly on Absolute Black stone only by hand. If you’d prefer a stone color other than Absolute Black for your loved one’s memorial, a hole will be cut into the memorial and an Absolute Black tile with the hand etched image will be inserted into the memorial.

  Jupiter Colombo. Double monument build for two with base and short ledger. Customized to include Black granite cross. Black & white hand etched portrait.

Color Portraits

• Color Portraits – color images are printed on ceramic tile. A hole is cut into the memorial and the ceramic tile is inserted into the memorial. Color portraits are available on all stone colors.
